Thursday, October 28th, 2010
Lunatic Fringe has been honored enough to be the new home of accredited make up artist and hair dresser Paula J. Dahlberg. Beginning 18 years ago as a nail tech, Paula soon branched out to the art of cosmetic application followed by a cosmetology license 10 years later. Dahlberg has lead the make up for the Lunatic Fringe Artistic Team for the past 2 years and eventually grew to be a part of our family. She has been with our Eleventh location team since July 2010. We’re excited to develop a strong cosmetic curriculum for Lunatic Fringe with Paula’s expertise and experience in the coming years, to provide top notch education and products to all our our guests.
We are so lucky to have Paula join our team. I love the connections she creates with people, our team, our salon guests and everyone she meets. She is truly amazing! – Shalene Smith, C.O.O. of Lunatic Fringe Salons

LF Orlando – Stylist Profile
Thursday, September 16th, 2010Hello to all you who enjoy the experience created by our Orlando Lunatic Fringe team! Let us introduce you to two of our rising stars in the Orlando area, Luis and Marla.
Both Luis and Marla have been with the Orlando team since it’s opening in 2009. Marla has since excelled in and very much enjoys hair coloring and creating a great experience for each of her guests! In her free time, she supports the Big Brothers and Sisters program. Luis, on the flip side, loses himself in the art of hair cutting and is constantly supporting his team members growth, being a business mentor to everyone!
We would like to celebrate the success of these two talented hair dressers and we invite you to experience their services. To make a reservation with either Marla or Luis, contact our Lunatic Fringe – Orlando location

Lunatic Fringe stylists take part in an event to benefit cancer research with Huntsman Cancer Institute and Miche Bags at Salt Palace Convention Center.
Monday, January 11th, 2010On Saturday January 9, 2010, five Lunatic Fringe stylists from 3 Utah salon locations styled hair & make-up for 12 cancer survivors & patients of the renowned Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. The 12 women were treated to hair make-up by not only Lunatic Fringe stylists but by other local hair stylists and make-up artists.
The twelve women ranging in age from 11-60 years old were asked to model a special cancer research hand bag that their experience with cancer and cancer treatment helped to inspire with quotes about surviving the disease. A special unveiling of the bag was revealed to over 400 Miche Bag distributors during the 2nd annual distributor conference at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Huntsman Cancer Institute has partnered with Miche Bag a Utah-based, purse company with international appeal (www.michebag.com); with a special design that allows women to change the look of their handbag without switching the contents of their bag each time. They have come up with a cancer research shell design that is comprised of Huntsman Cancer Institute patient quotes about surviving the disease; quotes have been incorporated into the design of the bag in a chic way and $5 of each shell will benefit cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute.
